Revamping the Tired Garden - Steve Harbour

Steve will discuss how to assess what stays and what goes, reducing or eliminating lawn areas and thirsty plants to create water efficiency, adding and refreshing patios, pathways, and hardscape features, and designing with newer plants and features that make the garden pop.

Steve Harbour is a California native with over 35 years of professional experience as a landscape designer and horticultural expert.  He is a Certified Landscape Designer with the International Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD), and has worked as both a Certified Arborist (ISA) and California Certified Nurseryman (CAN) in the past.  Steve's designs have garnered a multitude of accolades and awards.  Thirty photos of his landscape designs were recently featured in the book, Water-Smart Gardening.  More about Steve's design work can be found at www.steveharbourlandscapes.com.
