Each monthly meeting includes a five-minute presentation from a neighbor you do – or should – know.  We learn about new community initiatives, news from other community groups, or just get to know an interesting neighbor.

• Garden Walk Committee
• Plan and execute our primary fundraiser, the Mission Hills Garden Walk.

• Hospitality Committee
• Enlist members to bring sweets and savories for our monthly meetings. Setup meeting space and hospitality table. Meet and greet members and new members.
• Program Committee
• Research topics and potential speakers for our monthly meetings.
• Special Events Committee
• Organize club events that provide education, enlightenment, and entertainment beyond regular meetings.
• Community Outreach Committee
• Identify ways our club can support the greater community. Funding for school and community gardens, neighborhood beautification projects, partnering with other non-profit organizations are current examples.
• Green Thumb Award Committee
• This stealth committee is responsible for a surprise, special recognition for a Mission Hills garden that has gone the extra mile.
• Wine and Coffee Committee
• Invite club members and others from our community to open their gardens for our monthly Wine or Coffee gathering. Handle all logistics associated with setting up these events.
• Communications Committee
• Design materials, spread the word about the Garden Club through social media and more.
• Membership Committee
• Sign in and welcome members and guests at Garden Club events.
