The North American Ohara Teachers Association (NAOTA) will be holding its 21st Conference this coming October in La Jolla.  The first day of the conference will feature a two-hour ikebana demonstration presented by the 5th Headmaster of the Ohara School of Ikebana. This unique event will take place at 3:00 pm on Monday, October 21, 2024 at the La Jolla Marriott Hotel, 4240 La Jolla Village Drive, La Jolla, CA 92037.  We cordially invite you to attend.

Founded in 1895, the Ohara School of Ikebana is one of the three leading ikebana schools in Japan.  Its current Headmaster is well-recognized for his innovative approach to the Japanese art of flower arranging and is a pleasure to observe as he creates his unique arrangements.

A flyer is attached that provides details about the ikebana of the Ohara School, the innovative work of the current 5th Headmaster, and how you can reserve a ticket for the event.  The ticket cost is $45.
