Next we will introduce our feature presentation with Eric Olsen and his presentation on Organic, Environmentally Conscious Container Gardening.
Eric Olsen is a consummate sales professional with over 7 years of experience in the consumer and commercial gardening industries. He is knowledgeable in many aspects of the industry, such as soil and plant science, garden space design, among others. His passions are people and plants. When he’s not in the field visiting stores or doing garden club presentations, he’s with his family or in the garden.
Eric is passionate about organic gardening, as well as environmentally conscious growing methods. He said, “One of the things that attracted me to joining High Caliper Growing/ Smart Pots, is their environmentally friendly fabric pots do not leech harmful toxins like BPA into our water system. That, and they set the standard by inventing and perfecting the fabric pot made with quality in the USA.”
This presentation will focus on Container and Raised Bed Gardening and covers a slight history of food production, various container materials, pros and cons for each. Finally we will learn about Smart Pots, what they are and why they are the best option for growing plants in containers. Eric was kind enough to provide 20 of these Smart Pots to the first 20 registrants for his presentation! We will send the winners an email with details of how you will receive them.
