The Kokedama event is sold out!
Come join us at this final meeting of the year, where we will celebrate another educational and entertaining year of meetings and events by holding a fun afternoon enjoying a glass of wine and getting our hands dirty!
We will meet at the Mission Hills Nursery from 2:00-4:00pm and be shown how to create a Kokedama planting. Kokedama is a ball of soil, covered with moss, on which an ornamental plant grows. It is a centuries-old Japanese form of garden art that is closely tied to the practice of bonsai. You will be provided all of the materials including a plant of your choice and care instructions. Mission Hills staff member Felix will guide us step by step so we will each take home a lovely Kokedama plant to enjoy. Bring gloves if you don't want to get your hands dirty! Hope to see you there!
