WHAT’S NEW IN THE BALBOA PARK LANDSCAPE?

Exciting things are happening at the park and who better to update us than Jacqueline Higgins, the Director of Planning, Design and Programs for Forever Balboa Park, the newly merged organization of the Balboa Park Conservancy and Friends of Balboa Park. Join us for this wonderful program!

Ms. Higgins is a licensed Professional Landscape Architect with many years of project management experience in the field of landscape and irrigation design. She manages the data-driven land planning project for Forever Balboa Park, and as the principal Landscape Architect for Coast-to Coast, has a particular interest in climate appropriate designs. Her previous experience was in the restoration of ecological systems.

Ms. Higgins will speak about the landscape changes in the Park and introduce us to the latest version of the Tree Plotter App that allows visitors to identify and learn about the trees that grace
this wonderful space.
