Please join us at the Mission Hills Garden Club for our special November event on Thursday, November 17th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. We will gather at the United Church of Christ in Mission Hills, at 4070 Jackdaw Street, San Diego, CA 92103 to have our annual holiday potluck.

WHAT TO BRING:

Beverages and desserts will be provided. Please bring your favorite "finger food" to share. Portable appetizers in bite sized portions that do not require a knife or fork are ideal.

ACTIVITIES:

One of our favorite guest speakers, Chuck McClung will be lecturing about winter gardens. He is known for consultations, diagnoses, landscapes, herb gardens, fruit trees and much more in the biological sciences and plant life. He is your go to person for "Solving your gardening dilemmas”. He will discuss how to prepare your garden for winter, great winter plant selections, and winter vegetable gardening basics. He’ll also cover soil health, the best fertilizer for San Diego, as well as proper care for holiday plants like Amaryllis, Poinsettias, and Cyclamen.
