Allyson Hailey Bio 

Allyson Hailey is studying Environmental Horticulture and Urban Forestry and hopes to transfer to UC Davis once she completes all her pre-requisites at MiraCosta. It has been a long journey in my college career. Growing up they don't quite tell you how hard it is to decide what you want to do for the rest of your life and what classes to take for that. Hailey wants to study and work closely with plants, whether that be with alternative medicine, landscape design, soil science, or genetics! Hailey likes to care for houseplants and pay close attention to them, she wishes she could have a garden but the apartment living style isn't the best for that. She is currently looking into what plants would do best with the light conditions that her apartment has, as well as container gardening. She loves to grow herbs usually, and things that she can use in her cooking, or aroma therapy, or other homemade products like a lavender sea salt hair spray for example.
